Love that guy. Good luck with the Spurs, RMJ! Hope to see you in the finals one of these years.

Good for him, he improved a lot here and I wish we could keep him, but he'll get a good opportunity with the Spurs.

Good luck to our local guys Gist and RMJ in San Antonio.

While I've always thought some here overrated him - he's an utterly replaceable 10th man type - I appreciate the job he did helping us during Arenas' injury and think he'll fit in great with the Spurs.

Obviously, the sky is falling, the bridge is crumbling and little kittens are being sacrificed around the world right now.

This the final nail in the Wizards coffin which will doom this franchise for generations to come.

^^^ With that, shouldn't this be locked before Ji posts in here and brings that to fruition.

Oh I'm sorry. I thought this was the 'Kwame traded for Caron Butler' thread. My bad, I was having flashbacks.

Roger Mason, yeah. He's a good kid. Pretty good interior designer as well. I wish him the best. I hope he's doesn't let a stiff like Duncan hold him back. My word of advice to Roger. Never pass, because your always open bro. Just remember that. And don't let Pop get in your head. Just imagine him in a blouse & fishnets with some hot red pumps on. He'll appreciate the smile on your face while he's yelling at you.

Farewell Roger, you've been a good player but greater person for our team. I'm glad to have your autograph to remember!

Perfect scenario in my mind.

A great guy in Mason gets matched up with a classy organization, an organization that has wanted him for a while and a has great shot at playing a significant role in helping them get back the title.

Also, Mason won't be immediately coming back to haunt us within the division or conference and kill us in the biggest weak spot the Wizards have out in 3 point land,

And last but not least, provides an opportunity for Nick Young to get major minutes and hopefully shine in his sophmore season.

I'm going to miss those days when the Wizards' offense would be awful, then we'd bring RMJ into the game and he'd get us going with a few key threes.

He was just a great guy to have on the bench -- consistent and solid play, whether he was getting minutes or not. Never complained about his name not being called on occasion, but was always prepared when it was.

Good luck in SanAn.

Roger is a classy guy, and he'll be missed. I guess Gilbert's discount wasn't enough.

Roger was the man. Loved his game. I was one of his only believers before this season. I knew you wouldn't let us down.

Great person and I will never boo him. I hold him in the highest regard of ex-Wizards. Good luck and I hope you get a ring.

Pretty much exactly what I said to my dad earlier tonight. Roger was a great role player for us this year, but unless DS or AD is traded, he just isn't going to see much PT this coming year. He could be a really nice fit for the Spurs so best of luck to him.

I hope no one boos him when the Spurs travel to D.C. Not after the void he helped fill without Arenas.
