Now that FA is pretty much done for our Washington Wizards, would like to post a question to the knowlegable Wiz fans...

I am thinking 45-50 wins, but some of you (Ji) may be less optimistic.

Thoughts?

Hard to predict of-course, the Philly games USED to be gimmes, the new Miami trio will be a handful also.

Hmmm...really wanna put up a number. But, I dont think we're done with the off season moves yet. So, let me say 45 wins now...but I reserve the right to change if/when EG pulls the trigger.

CC - I hear you and hope that EG has another trick or two up his sleeve. OTW - (not to sound too much like Ji, but we're screwed...)

its still all the same players, some of them on other teams. We can beat anyone and we can loose to anyone. If we're healthy 45-37 of we're not 44-38. If pechs ankles hold up 43-39 if etan still palys for us 42-40. ........you get the pic. second round.....woulda coulda shoulda

But if we win it all, .......i told you so!

As much as Gil's knee, Twan's back, and Butler's everything can get us.

Okay then...
+/- Gil's knee = 47 games
+/- Caron's Everything = 25 games
+/- Twan's Back = 20 games

Wiz medical staff = 14 games
EFJ = Small Ball duration - Wood's Bench minutes + Etan/Song stolen mintues
End of game collapse = +/- 10 games

Taking everything into account we win -48 games. That's right...we'll be the first team in NBA history to lose more than 82 games.

I think you forgot the collapse of the 3 point line. That's another 11

if there are 82 games i say we win 83.
i say gil, twan, tj, dshaw, and bth make up the starting lineup for the east and we win so im counting that as a win.

hey, it never hurts to be optimistic.

Talk about prejack. I think your supposed to think about baseball to stop that from happening.

This is way to early for this thread.

Talk to me in Nov.

I'd much rather make the prediction after watching a week of them playing so you can see what is actually different. If I trusted in the HC this would be another story but for God sake, we have EJ. How can you make an accurate prediction for this team.

This isn't like predicting that the Celtics were going to be the team to beat last year. That was obvious. You know what you were going to get out of their star 3.

But with GA returning from injuring and with him needing to adjust his role and with EJ as HC, its hard to predict more then a 2-5+ win improvement without seeing them do something on the court first. I need to see what EJ does with mins and who makes the final roster.

If the Wiz make no other major changes and the team stays healthy 40-45 wins and another first round exit. If the big 3 dont stay healthy, then its lotteryville.

But don't worry we got the summer of 2010 to look forward to.
