RIP Kevin Duckworth

http://www.oregonlive.com/news/index.ss ... _duck.htmlI choose to remember Duck as someone who, when healthy, was virtually unstoppable, even when he played for the Bullets. I thought he was much maligned because his weight made him an easy target. He never lacked for effort, unlike say, Ike Astin...

Tragic news. Duckworth was definitely a franchise legend.

Very sad to see someone that young pass away. Had so much promise and had some great years with the Blazers. Honestly, when you look back at the centers that we had and count Ruland and Hayes as power forwards, other than Moses, he might have been one of the best low-post scorers we've ever had at the pivot.

I actually supported the Duckworth acquisition because I was a fan of his from his Portland days (I followed the Blazers cuz of Drexler). His one hand shot (which actually was money) and flabby chicken wings aside, he was a legit starting center for a while in the NBA. Rest in peace, Kevin.

Just saw the news come across the wire...
Very sad news for such a young person to pass away, regardless of how he may or may not have performed for the WIz.
We'll miss you, 'Duck
