Put together a team built of your least favorite all-time Bullets/Wizards (that you hated when they were on the team, not other team guys that snuck in for a cup of coffee)

PG Rod Strickland -- The Derek Coleman of the franchise
SG Rex Chapman -- low percentage flashy no-D gunners aren't my cup of tea
SF John "hot plate" Williams -- fat lazy supertalents aren't either
PF Chris Webber -- Mr. Softee; may have less trips to the line than any 20ppg big ever
C Charles Jones -- Coaches loved him and he was a class guy from everything I've seen but there had to be SOMEONE out there who was a better center than this (I had no problem with trying out the likes of Ben Coleman, Jahidi White, Ben Wallace, etc. . . who knows, one of them might have turned into a decent player with some PT)

6th man candidates: Ledell Eackles/LaBradford Smith -- was really the same guy you know, they just changed his face and hair style after awhile to pretend they were doing something.

Coach: Billy Cunningham -- ok, you're a genius, fine; but you have no clue about teaching young guys

GM: Bob Ferry -- Yeah, I know Wes was the worst ever no question (except maybe Stepien's stooge in Cleveland); and yeah, I've heard all the John Nash lines but EVERY FRIGGIN YEAR to go and bring in another just past his peak lead shooter to try to make a run at the 8th playoff spot without ever having a serious interest in actually being competitive antagonized me more than blatant stupidity or incompetence.

(oh, and I still liked Susan O'Malley and think she did her job -- she wasn't part of the basketball braintrust, only with filling seats for a perpetually mediocre team)

How could you hate Eackles? Eackles was the epitome of the chubby-but-athletic player you see on every pick up court.

For me:
PG Steve Colter. I hated the Jheri curl. I also hated Doug 0-for-10, and I thought Darrell Walker's game was unbelievably ugly.
SG Courtney Alexander. I hated his impossibly short arms, and I hated that hitch in his jumper.
SF Calbert Cheaney. I hated his impossibly short arms, his lack of 3-point range, and his utter failure to at least mature into a Battier-type stopper. Jordan could go here, too.
PF Laettner. Dookie. 'Nuff said.
C Ike Austin. Soft. Lazy. Refused to work hard enough to make good on his talent once he got the contract he wanted. I'd also add Lorenzo "Who?" Williams, who was signed as a C despite being 6'8" 230 lbs.

After Mark Brunell, all my hate for any former Wizards pale in comparison.

It's hard to believe that we are still treading water as a franchise after drafting:

Juan Dixon
Jarvis Hayes
Jared Jeffries
Kwame Brown

That's not quite a team, but it represents a full half decade of poor decision making and wasted opportunity. The cumulative effect is certainly maddening.
