jmrosenth Retires!
One of the first Moderators on RealGM has decided to retire.
jmrosenth is retiring after nearly 8 years as a Moderator due to real-life responsibilities.
I remember when RealGM was starting up in the fall of 2000. Jason and I were two of three columnists on staff and during the first few weeks, we had to link people to our columns as there was no columns section visable on the site.
It is hard to believe it has been 8 years already.
Not only has Jason been a great Columnist and Affiliate, he has done an outstanding job making this forum one of the most civil and knowledgeable on RealGM. He also built a great team of moderators that consists of pineappleheadindc, WizStorm, miller31time and his last official appointment LyricalRico.
Jason will still be around but will be missed as an active moderator.
On behalf of everyone at RealGM, we wish nothing but the best to one of the first.
Good Luck Jason!

Re: jmrosenth Retires!
I would say we're going to miss him but I think we've pretty much gotten use to not having any mods around on this board.
Seriously, though, thanks JRo for all your hard work over the years with the WizBoard site. I wish you the best with your future endeavors outside of RealGM.
Oh and since you've now re-joined the ranks of us common folks, I fully expect to see you create a completely useless thread on D and D day when the season officially ends (with the way things are going that might be sometime next week).

JRO I've known you for so long. Your baldness was contagious and I'm still awaiting my lawsuit on that issue.

Have fun at the retirement center, JRo. Remember to play lots of shuffle-board and give the grandkids that spare nickel in your pocket!

Kev's gone. JRo, too. Pine seems to be as well.
Thanks to all for their contributions in the past.
Also, real life comes before RealGM 100 times out of 100.

Wait, so JRo isn't even going to post anymore? This sucks!
Anyway, good luck man. I wish you well in your future endeavors.

Re: jmrosenth Retires!
What?!?! All the love in this thread is for JRo and none fo rme?
Now where is that lock button...
Kidding of course. JRo's mod-ship was one of the primary reasons why I stuck around after joining RealGM. I'd never been on a message board before and it was kind of cool at first but then I saw how it could get out of hand really fast. But JRo and Pine were great at keeping the Wiz forum on the up-and-up and that made me want to stick around. I hope to carry his mantle with the same effectiveness.
Although there is one area of concern. It seems that Wiz board mods seem destined to retire because of "real life responsiblities". I may want to rethink this. LOL

Holy crap, I thought the Lyrical reference was for the Skins Board. Didn't notice you're the new Wiz-Board mod.
Congrats LR!

So basically, this isn't even news. Jason has really moderated this board in years.

Seriously, good luck in your real life Jason. I hope that it's better than the excitement and adventure of RealGM!

Re: jmrosenth Retires!
You've been a great moderator and leader JRo! Certainly sad to see you go, hopefully you'll still frequent the boards often.
And welcome Rico to one of the easiest boards to moderate at RealGM. Aside from the occassional drunken, angry, create meaningless thread nights, the educated community here makes our job easy.

All the best.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

I've heard good stories about diderotn.
I'd like to know why he left in the 1st place.

I belive that stroy starts and ends with Jro.
I always viewed Jro as the man on the wiz boards you didn't mess with, kinda the guy who stood behind the other wiz posters. you just knew better

Re: jmrosenth Retires!
So who takes his place? I nominate CCJ and call for an official investigation into millertime's appointment.
