Crappy game-thread, I know. I'm leaving my house right now and didn't see a gamethread up and stickied, so I present to you this piss-poor effort.

Can't wait to see our backcourt shut down David Lee.

Even though I'm sure we're going to lose, I'm still excited, as this is the first game I'll be able to watch in over a week. It's a weird feeling, being legit excited for one of our games.

I really don't get how a head coach can continually say that we settle on too many jumpshots yet his 2 supposed star/veteran players repeatedly disrespect that observation every single game. I mean if I had a dollar for every time Jamison and Butler took lousy jumpers this year I'm pretty sure I could cover my student loans.

Look like it's going to be a quite night in the game thread.
CCJ is going to love AJ with his new arm gear

Looking good so far. They seem to have learned how to run inside the screen between last game and this game.

WHY, WHY does Caron HAVE to run the last play to end a quarter......yet-again with no play and iso crap.

Blatche looks very alive tonight.
Only criticisms are
- What is CB thinking ? Get back to team ball brother
- Why was CB the iso on the last shot with NY in the game
- AB forced it on the fast break
Possitives
- They have energy
- James mostly shooting set shots with is what I want from him
- DMAC shooting the set shot.
- Blatche passing well

very interesting lineup of Juan, Critt, Nick, Songalia and McGee
good to see Juan back out there.

NY being challenged to take the next step as they are starting to double him now.
Refs - not sure who farted in their collective faces but we have been getting crapping calls for like 10 games now. Reminds me of days gone by. At least 5 missed calls already.
Tapps adjusted by putting DSong on David Lee. Good move. Not sure why he didn't do this last game.

that shot right there by Blatche is a perfect example of why i don't like his game...

Blatche is balling tonight. 10 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals, 1 block in the first half.

Blatche has a double-double already.

C'mon people, let's stop talking about trading our 20 somethings being paid peanuts. Love what I'm seeing from Blatche, and wouldn't trade him at this point. He still finishes like a mega p***y though Christ.

OTOH, no one is untouchable on a 7-31 team.

Agreed, but you don't start with your youth on church mouse contracts. Ya dig?

Sweet, the Tankscott plan is kicking in to start the second half.

well, just because no one is untouchable doesn't mean there isn't a priority order, and, certainly, you don't make every trade just to dump salary.

Really, quite an impressive tank of a quarter so far.

Brilliant strategy Tappy!! When getting out hustled have two of our most nonathletic players in at the same time. Dude has tanking down to a art.
