I didn't see a game thread. My apologies if I missed it. No picture, no text or commentary really, just if you want to talk about this car wreck of a game, you can do it in this thread.

What a difference youth makes with Critt and Young. Instant 10-0 run. Ofcourse some of this board will have you believe they haven't earned it.

Unless they've aged about 6 or 7 years in one game, they haven't earned s***.

Don't you know how to handle a team?

Caron is just done with basketball right now. He could care less about being aggressive or making the pass or doing anything other than jacking up contested mid-range jumpshots.

But of course, he's earning all of these minutes. Right?

How dare you impugn the character of our all-star SF? He's been a model of leadership and consistency this season. The next thing you'll be doing is calling out our all-star PF. Your reign of terror must end.

I know you're joking but I really have nothing bad to say about Jamison.

We all know he's a bad defender, but that guy is playing his heart out every game and is actually taking it inside and mixing it up a little.

Caron is just ticking me off right now.

What ever happened to Taps 7-game "tight rotation" and consistent minute plan? Because the crap he's pulling right now leads me to believe that he has absolutely no plan.

Predictably, Mike James starts off the game as his usual horrid self and team falls into a huge 15 point hole. Insert, J-Crit and he immediately helps spark a nice run. Then for some reason after his 3 minutes of great play, Taps goes to the bench and inserts Dixon for completely unproductive play for the remainder of the half.

Can any basketball player can thrive in this sort of environment, let alone inexperienced youngsters trying to find their identity in the NBA?

I think Tap thinks he's so smart and he ends up being too smart for his own good. It's very simple: play the freaking kids significant and consistent minutes. If they make repeated mistakes, then pull them for a short time and coach (what a concept) them on the bench and send them back out there and see if they follow the coaching they received.

Uh oh, Caron drove to the basket and didn't get any points....back to mid-range jumpers for the next 10 games.

Crittenton has been passing the ball extremely well. He's been completing passes a lot of starting-caliber point guards can't make.

Critter has been doing some good things this game and it's nice to see DMac having success offensively.

Crit = +19 in a little under 8 mins
James = -13 in about 14 mins.

Gotta love Tapscott and his rotations.

Oh, and just for good measure McGee has 6 boards in only 8 minutes.

I hate to be repetitive but Crittenton is BALLING.

13pts (6-8fg / 1-1ft)
5asts
2rebs
2stls

...and all in 14 minutes!

He should have about 8 or 9 assists but Darius Songaila failed to finish at the basket on a few occasions.
