The long slog through the season continues, as YOUR Washington Wizards welcome the Chicago Bulls in for a Friday night match-up at the phone booth. The Bulls come off of a disappointing Wednesday night loss to the NJ Nets and (unrelatedly) an audience with President Obama.

While the injury-plagued Wizards are battling (tanking?) toward a high lottery pick, the Chicago squad sits just outside of the playoffs as this post is written.

As long-time Wizards board members know, I've NEVER missed an opportunity to post photos of the absolute worst-looking dance team in the NBA, the Luv-a-Bulls whenever Chicago visits town. I don't want to disappoint. So the battle of the dance team members pits my personal Wiz fave Myra versus a plethora of Bulls girls. Here goes:

Wizards Dance Team Member Myra

BTW - Chicago is, in actuality, a great town with lots of hot women walking around. You have to wonder just who makes Luv-a-Bull selections and what the criteria is to make the team. It's obviously not based on looks.

Perhaps they use other means and measures to select Luv-a-Bull team members...

'bout time you got Myra up there.
Nice going Pine. She easily tops my list of Wiz dancers
Like I said yesterday, she's got personality!

I wonder if Caron will guard Gordon or Deng.

I would say very little chance. His quotes from earlier this week indicated that it will be at least a few more weeks, and there's at least a chance he won't come back at all this year. Though I expect that he will be back.

I sold my tickets through StubHub to a B. Obama, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, DC.

Actually I fly to Florida for a long weekend tomorrow, so I gave them to a friend.

That's a pretty big stage with the POTUS attending. I'm sure Arenas will find it very hard to resist the temptation of playing in front of the president.

Pine posting the The Luv-a-Bull pictures makes me laugh every time.

By the way, even the Wiz dance team is in tank mode.

During last night's game the dance squad took the court only to have the PA guy kick off the wrong song. So, the ladies stood there in position while they queued up a different song. Turns out though, that the second song was also the wrong number so the ladies hurried off the court without performing.

Probably not the entertainment they want to provide but I enjoyed it.

If he's still not ready, that's precisely the sort of temptation he should resist.

C'mon, Gil. Lace em' up for the POTUS.

Just play this game, then when the game is over, say you felt slight discomfort and take the next month off.

I believe Monica Lewinsky already holds that honor.
