Idea for next season: League Pass

Sorry for the new thread, but I wanted to get your opinions on this.
The Raptors board came up with an idea where they (being all the members of board) kick in a few bucks to get League Pass. Then a member streams the games from LP. Apparently it works very well for them (and they have about 500000 members). I'm just wondering if this is something we'd be interested in? Personally I would, as I work a late shift and can't watch Wizards game unless I somehow find a live stream online. I'd rather kick in a few bucks and watch a good, high quality live feed through LP.
No, I don't know the legalities in this, but I figure if we all put in, then we are all technically "owners" of that LP account, and therefore it's legal.
Anyway, if anyone is interested, respond in this thread.

If I recall correctly you can already stream League Pass games online if you have a subscription. Personally I'd just buy my own Pass if I was in your position so I wouldn't have to hope some random guy streams the games he's supposed to.

I bought the NBA broadband package for 80 bucks this year, well worth the coin. I was able to stream games on multiple computers at the same time so I say next year we get a crew together and share a subscription.

My previous experience with league pass is that the team in your market is blacked out. The "market" is determined by the home address of the subscriber. So when I had it a couple years ago, the Wiz games were blacked out online since I live in MD. When I was out of town and tried watching, as soon as I signed it, it based everything on my home address and I couldn't see the game.
So for this to work somebody out of the DC/MD/VA area would have to be the one to order it.

Pretty sure, League Pass Broadband bases the local team now on either your IP address, or some form of tracking where you are currently. I live in Phoenix, and am using a friend's League Pass account (who lives in LA), and all season long Phoenix Suns games would be blacked out for me, and Lakers games for him. I also used it one time on a trip back home to NY, at which point Knicks games were blacked out, and back in NJ, Nets games were blacked out. Also keep in mind, any national TV games will be blacked out as well (ESPN, TNT, NBA TV, ABC).
So, I'm pretty sure it's based on your actual location at the time of game, anyone in DC therefore wouldn't be able to watch any Wiz games online.
Always check out myp2p.eu or justin.tv for free streams of games, a quick google for wizards game stream should always net you some links on any given night as well.

^ I dunno. I recall giving my LP login to wermol (who lives in Eastern Europe) and he couldn't get the Wiz games either. He got all of the others, though. Of course this was at least 3 years ago so maybe it's changed.

I got league pass broad band so I could catch wiz games in Houston. I moved to LA during the season. While in Houston I couldn't get rockets games, and now Lakers/Clips is blacked out so I am pretty sure its based on IP.
