Please share your final thoughts on this horrible season. Let's say at least one positive thing. Maybe give out grades for each player and the coach. Thank God it's over...

Truly unlucky season for us this year, hopefully landing Blake Griffin will start the healing. Can't wait for the lottery and the draft. It was very encouraging to see Haywood's last 5-6 games, I think healthy Haywood is a top 5 center in the Eastern conference. I have no idea about Arenas, he played under control, did a nice job of distributing the ball but he looked nowhere close to his old self.
H Coach - Tapscott - D Horrible tank job, played veterans too much, didn't develop the young guys much. He wasn't any better than Eddie Jordan, probably worse than him.
AJ - A He gave it all this season, I'm proud of him.
Butler - B- He was solid but played very selfish and erratic. I think he took a step back this season. Very disappointed with his defense.
McGuire - B+ One of the bright spots this season. If he can add a three-point shot to his offensive game, he will be a solid rotation player for us next season.
McGee - C Amazing potential but he's lost most of the time. It was entertaining to see his athletic ability this season. One of the reasons I still watched Wiz games, wish the coaches gave him more minutes.
Dixon - F He was horrible, nice tank job last few games. Hope we win the lottery out of it, he needs to disappear from this team by training camp.
Haywood - Incomplete He was a monster on defense in games he played. I can't wait to see him play next season.
Blatche - C- Solid season but very inconsistent. I didn't see much improvement from last year. I don't mind if we trade him
Young - B Up and down season but overall positive season. I think he's not yet ready to be our starting shooting guard but hell of a 6th man. Improved all-around game would take his game to a whole another leve.
Etan - D/incomplete Injuries have killed his career, need to get rid off him in any way possible. Don't want to see him again in Wizards uniform.
M James- D+ Had a few good games but has no place on this team. I think he was a better than Antonio Daniels.
Songaila - B. He can be a very sold player in limited minutes and when he's not playing out of position. Awesome game against the Cavs. He can contribute in the playoffs for us, solid veteran, definitely a keeper.
Arenas - Incomplete. No comment... I'm sick of him
Javaris - B- Solid pick up by Ernie Grunfeld. Not yet ready to be our main back-up point guard, needs a lot of work on his game but I see potential.
Pecherov - C Another season wasted season, barely played.
Stevenson - D He played with an injury, still he had a horrible season. No defense, no offense. He's okay when healthy.

Final wish? Cavs and the obnoxious LeTravel get knocked out in Round 1

I'll let you know after the lottery.

Would be one of our more successful seasons if the draft picks helps us land Griffin or a legit NBA superstar.

Other scenarios: I wish this season never happened. It sucked. I want to see a healthy team year in year out.

Amen. It's the only thing worth watching at this point.

I will be heartbroken if the roster isn't significantly improved (draft Griffin or trade for a solid vet or two).

EDITED TO ADD: I also don't think Arenas looked too bad in his two games. His shot will come back. Touch like the one he's shown doesn't just disappear. And if somehow it did, you can bet your house that Arenas will work to get it back. Above all, it probably has the most to do with conditioning. Long range shots are harder to take when you've been running around, especially when you aren't in your best shape. But he could still definitely take it to the basket. He didn't do it as often, but he drove right by people, or found his way to the hoop a fair amount in his limited minutes. It was a noticeably slower explosion to the hoop, but if it gets it done, it gets it done. Even so, I expect at least 90% of his initial explosion to be back. I'd say he showed that his 75% was still enough to get to the rim. He didn't make the baskets, but that's mainly mental. His confidence will get back up once he either starts making a few or stops even subconsciously worrying about getting injured.

I think Arenas (and the Wizards) will surprise a lot of people next year.

"It wasn't up to me," Arenas continued. "I wasn't worried about what I was physically doing out on the basketball court. I haven't played in so long, I wasn't expecting to hit shots and get to the basket and dunk on people. I was just trying to run, react, run around the floor and get a feel."

He then added that Tapscott told him that he can play if he wanted to, but explained that the Wizards didn't really need him to finish the season. "If we were in the playoff race, this wouldn't have happened," Arenas said.

Please get control of this team Flip starting with Gilbert. Coaches decide playing time and rotations, not the vets. I hope there is a clean-sweep of any remaining coaching assistants save Hoppla and that there will be a player development action plan. On to the draft lotto on May 19.

I just hope like hell that Cleveland doesn't win it. As much as I hate the Lakers and Andrew Bynum I dispise the Cleveland Trav's and their fans that much more. I pray for the day Lebron leaves Cleveland.

And I hope they just dont lose and LBJ leaves cleveland, I just want Cleveland to lose LBJ for a season or 2 too three surgeries and see if they make it out of the 1st round. The finals two seasons ago was such a fluke for them. Maybe ECF, but no Finals!!
