Terrible loss - gone way too soon.

I was just talking about him to someone who didn't even know he was a basketball player. He knew him as a great jazz musician. And he was also know for his religious involvement. Jeeze, and just 44 years old. With him and Chuck Daly, we've lost 2 HOF caliber individuals recently... not sure we'll see the likes of them, anymore.

Tisdale was a great--not just good, but great--bass player. I thought he'd be a much better pro baller than he turned out to be, based on how he dominated at the college level. (can't help but compare him in that regard to fellow Sooner blake griffin).

I only caught Tisdale as a pro, and not knowing the expectations coming out of college I thought he was extremely solid.

Great human being... and, one of the top 5 college basketball players I've ever seen. The guy was just unstoppable at OU. Really, really sad loss.
