Just played a game with the Wizards on NBA 2K9 (very simulation-like settings) and your guys are gonna score a bunch! Hope everyone stays healthy and good luck next season. Knicks fan here but I just love your clean ass metro!

On a similar note and adhering to the age old proverb that a picture is worth a thousand words, here's how Ernie and Honest Abe "blew" the $2.5 mil they got from Houston for the 32nd pick...

Yeah, at first glance we're stacked alright, just don't look to close while you're hitting it or the butterface, bad skin, halitosis breath and expanding gut may give you pause.
Anybody got a paper bag?

Ha. I wouldn't judge the game play of a video game to reality. But they are stacked I admit. They'll be able to score. But its what happens on the defensive end that will count.

Teams will have problems keeping up the scoring pace, and opposing teams first and second units will have problems getting stops against the wizards. The defense will not be much worse than before, but the offense will be unstoppable. That does not mean that the wizards won't miss shots now. But, on offense with the first unit, who you gonna cheat off of if DeShawn aint starting? Miller/Foye? Or single cover Gil, Caron, and Antawn, Miller/Foye, and Brendan. Pick your poison.
The second unit will pose the same problem for opposing second units, also, the Big 3 will not have to carry the load as much.
Defensively, they will have some problems as usual, but teams will not be able to keep up the offensive pace and pressure from 2 units. Lebron may have to average close to 60.

Good news is they may score 120 a game. Bad news is they may have to.

You guys will be like the Suns from 2 years ago, but just not as good. Since, they had the league's MVP at that time and Amare. Idk, how you can call wizards championship contenders.....This will give them a 1st of 2nd round exit at best. You guys would have been better off, waiting and picking Rubio at the 5th pick, and rebuild the team. I seriously don't understand the Wizard's front office.

This assumes that Rubio wanted to come to Washington. Best info we have says that he didnt want to come here. That means we would get nothing for that #5 pick if we drafted him. So, the next thing to do was to try and trade the pick. No other team was going to give us a #5 (rather a lottery pick) in a future draft in exchange for Rubio. So, we had to try and get the best deal we could for that #5. Ended up being Foye+Miller.
