Ironic, they were trying to trade him and there were no takers, now he's is a key piece...on a bad team though.

Without a doubt, that is his special niche - being an unconscious chucker on a bad team. Has NY1 even been to the playoffs? It's tough to play in the league for a decade w/o sniffing the 8th seed

I always had a soft soft for N1. He's not a bad guy, and we all know he can shoot and score at will. He'd be a good fit for someone like OKC, IMO.

The wait is over for JaVale, does Ernie get credit now? JaVale has started the last 3 games and is playing well.

Welp, Chris Singleton (the other flop in the Vesely draft) seems to have found his niche in Greece as a center. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Chris-Singleton-1342/stats/ I never would have thought of trying him there, but he actually does have adequate length and weight to play there - not saying it would work to play him at center in the NBA, but maybe it was worth a look - and it wouldn't surprise me to see him back in the NBA.

I liked Johnny O' Bryant during SL and I wished we had kept him.

He is making the most of it so far. Over 3 games he is averaging 16 ppg on lights out shooting.

I wouldn't mind having him back. Now that he has had a reality check he could be a useful player.

Remember when Hands kept calling him big balls, and would post that photo of the squirrel with a huge nut sack?

Yup, that was my first thought when I saw the news.

Crawford was maybe my least favorite Wizard of all time when he was playing with us based on his decision making, but he seems to have radically transformed his game.

50% of his FGAs are 3 pointers and he's assisted on 93% of those?
turning the ball over on 5% of his possessions with a usage rate of 22%? He could double that turnover rate and it'd be acceptable.

Good for him and I'll rescind my previous animus. :wizard:

Maybe someone has already commented on this. But the mere thought of JaVale possibly getting a champion ring before any of current Wizards players... :nonono:

The Wiz aren't winning a chip during this rebuild, just too many blunders, so the only way a Wizard gets a ring in the foreseeable future is if he is of the former variety.
