KG Limping?

Post#1 » by dlts20 » Sat Oct 3, 2009 10:17 pm

saw this on another Wiz site and the C's board. Alot of the C's fans are downplaying it like this is just normal and the guy is tired but I told them that he looks bad and looks just like Gil use to look. They should shut him down if this is how he normaly looks and I told them that he looks like he needs another surgery to me. BTW, I was looking for an "around the league thread" on here but I didnt find one. Feel free to move it if you want.

I know it probably won't be that severe but if, for instance, KG missed the season (in Gilbert-esque fashion), what would your prediction of the Celtics be?

If the Wiz meet and exceed expectations winning, say, 50-52 games, is it conceivable we pass Boston in the standings?

Well they have Rasheed Wallace now, so they could still finish with 55+ wins. It certainly makes them more vulnerable in the playoffs.

Perkins/Scalabrine
Sheed/Davis
Pierce/Daniels
Allen/Daniels
Rondo/House

Well, that's still better than what they had last year when KG went down and they picked up Moore/Marbury. So, yeah - I'd still expect them to cross 50 wins and finish in the Top 3. They wouldn't be title contenders, though.

Maybe the Wiz could give them a run, especially if guys who historically get hurt like Marquis Daniels also miss time. If Boston does end up finishing 4th and has to face a team like Atlanta without KG, I could see them losing in the first round.

But my official prediction is that they still finish in the Top 3 without KG and get to the second round before being put out by either Orlando or Cleveland (whichever finishes second).

Did anyone see the C's training camp yesterday? It was funny because the guys on the C's board clowned me yesterday which was stupid anyways because I wasnt talking smack. Then they said that I should see the new vids of him. I watched the training camp on NBA TV and he still looked horrible. You had Cedrick Maxwell on there talking like an idiot about how great KG looks when he clearly was dragging that leg the whole practice
