IS Haywood Any Good?

He looks like he was on the Paris Hilton diet this year looking a lot trimmer than his former self. Saw the highlights and he was dunking on people and what not. You guys expect much from him this year?

He'll average close to a double double with elite level post defense...

most here will tell you that Haywood is hugely underestimated
around the league, at least by casual fans. His absence was a huge part
of the train wreck that was last season. He is the anchor of our defense
which may not have been much of a compliment in the past,
but after one game this season, looks solid.

BTH benefited from Gilbert setting him up for easy jams last night. BTH is our defensive anchor, but he has horrible touch around the basket and is a bad rebounder. Still, he is essential for our teams success.

IBTL, this-one is headed to one of the Haywood threads

The general media talks about us having a "Big Three." Most of us tend to think in terms of "Big Four." Yes, we think Haywood is good.

I could see him putting up 10&10 through the 1st half of the season, then turning it on something like 30&30

? wood is NOT a bad rebounder. a mediocre defensive rebounder but an EXCELLENT offensive rebounder. maybe one of the best in the league. not really a stat sheet stuffer but the most important player to the wizards success imo

Like DaRealHibachi stated he'll probably average somewhere along the lines of 11 ppg 9 rpg 2 bpg 50+ fg% with great post defense, and being the anchor of the defense.
