It's still the first quarter, but:
Pacers are beating the Hawks
Raptors and beating the Cavs
76er's are beating the Magic
I guess Pre-season is as worthless as Summer League for judging how teams are going to be this year.

The Magic have dropped eight 3pters just halfway through the 2nd quarter against the 76ers. I for one, am absolutely shocked.

Impossible! How are they spacing the floor without Hedo?

EJ's defense at-work. I'm watching the Cavs playing horribly against Toronto.

New Orleans has as of this post missed 14 shots in a row. I realize they're playing the Spurs on the road, but that team is going to have a heckuva time scoring points IMO.

Philly being destroyed by 36.

In a true sign that Blair is a beast, so far his numbers are 666.
In his first six NBA minutes, 6 points and 6 rebounds.
Also 3 fouls.
Kid's an impact player. Impacts other player's arms and heads when he's not rebounding and scoring.

In the Magic/Sixers game I just heard the announcer say "Eddie Jordan is gonna have a little defensive session after this game".
Magic are up 100-69 at the end of three.

It's down to 31 now. Gotta love the defense by Philly tonite. Orlando has 100 points through 3 quarters.

The Raps better not give this game away... I'll never forgive them...
EDIT: From up 20 something to up 1 in less then 10 minutes... Wow... Lebron is gonna kill them...

Re: Orlando
Is it that they are just continuing to obliterate teams like they did in pre-season, or is it that EJ is a horrible coach? It could be both

Iggy is going to turn into a horrible defender under EJ's coaching. He'll become a gambler on defense.

Toronto is killing the Cavs again, 83-72, after Cleveland tied it at 69.
Watching the Cavs have Shaq and Ilgauskas on the court together is comical. Bargnani's raining threes. Toronto's killing them in transition.
Cleveland's not looking anything like a dominating team. Far from it.

Mike Brown is (Please Use More Appropriate Word)... He's like EJ, except in reverse; All D, no O... It's like he doesn't have a clue on offensive subs/rotations...
Not that I care though...

EDIT: A quote from the Sixers board...
g selle wrote:Oh, and nice job Eddie Jordan. You're staying true to your reputation of never playing rookies. In a wide open blowout Jrue Holiday could not play a single minute. Really now? Pshh.
Good times, good times...

The Cavs did hang with the Celts for 4 quarters last night and they are on a b2b......just sayin.
