I'm with you. It's not that in and of itself the loss of Mike James for 4-5 weeks is crippling. But in the context of everything else this team has been dealt, it's downright depressing to me. I don't get the whole "laugh to keep from crying" thing. It's so beyond unfunny.
The only reasonable questions to ask are "why?" and "who's next?"

Eh, Mike James, bleh... Don't wish anyone to get hurt, but this isn't horrible news IMO. Flip can't play him now so I don't see it as a negative.

AD's out there looking for work. He might actually be Flip's kinda guy. He's done defensively. But this team is struggling for leadership.
Let AD come back while James is out on a non-guaranteed deal.

Nah. A guy I know with some access said that part of the reason behind the AD-James deal last year was the org had tired of AD's whining in the locker room and that that same whining made the Sonics not try to retain him when he was a FA. You have to wonder why Minny just waived him rather than trying to get something of value for him too. My point is AD may well be a bridge-burner and i highly doubt he comes back here.

This may be in poor taste, but this is really good news. James is awful. Next, it should happen to DeSuck...on his shooting hand.
