Official Thread - Wizards vs Cavs

It has been 3 and a half years since I joined the wizards board. The day I joined the wizards lost to Raptors after winning 15 of their previous 19. Yes, it was that same season we started 4-9. Now It's time again to put together a run just like that and pick our game up where we left it couple of weeks ago. In the second quarter against Cleveland.

Sorry for the delay but it is finally here.
My version of a gamethread: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKd_vPeGT7U

GO wizards!

Yeah, good observation that we really did leave our game in the second quarter of that bout against LeTravel and his Merry Men.

We'll see if we can find it. We'll also see if AJ really is the piece we've needed all season to calm Gil down and get Caron out of his rut.

obviously this is some clevelander's 2nd account. however we're so snakebitten that in sabataging us, hanx is actually unjinxing us... that logic works right?

Agreed, I was going to move that this thread be locked, but what the heck. I call upon reverse mojo to give US the victory.

Eh...I know for a fact that this is not some cleveland fan or anyone else on an alternate account. The person behind it is very real, he just doesn't post all that often... or at all. It is a wizards fan and he reads the board daily, and has for years now. Besides, I thought his gamethread idea (its just a reservation so far) was pretty fun also.

How do I know it? It's my younger brother.

Who knew the Wiz had such a following in Estonia.

I think the absence of Delonte, assuming he still out, is big. It's one less body to throw at Gil, but more importantly, allows us to play Miller at SG without worrying he's going to get blown by all the time. Having Miller on the floor is a big help on the boards (where the Cavs have traditionally killed us).

So yeah, 124-92 sounds about right.

Jamison's practiced without limitation today and is in! Foye couldn't go and is likely out. Shaq's doubtful though. Me likey.

This ones gonna be ugly for the Cav's. After the game, you're going to wish you looked as good as even this Estonian Jellied meat.

Great to hear! I liked the spark Boykins was able to bring, let's see if Jamison brings some more fire to this group.

As a bonus Jamison's presence will help with the lack of frontcourt depth that really hurt us in the first meeting.

Fabricio Oberto was held out of the second half of practice after experiencing some tightness in his left hamstring, Saunders said.

them not having Shaq might not make things that different.

If Oberto is out, perhaps McGee will sniff the court a little longer.
I watched some more of the DET game last night, McGee didn't look
as bad as I thought with the exception of the charge he committed.
I'd almost suggest that Flip should ignore whatever foul trouble he
might get into as not being that relevant (unless one of our other bigs
gets hurt).

I'm feeling like the new Ji after the MIA thread where I questioned whether
DWade could go for 40 every night. Against us, apparently he can.

But we have to eventually win another game. Might as well be Wed night.
Couldn't happen at a better time. Gil's gotta break out sooner or later too.

I'm surprised Foye's not ready. My daughter said she thought she saw something
on Sat that indicated he would play then. Boykins is fools gold but I'll take it as
long as it lasts.
