Haywood owns Bogut and this is a different Gil than he was when we faced them before. Plus the bench now has some momentum. Gotta think win here, even on a back-to-back.

I hope AJ throws another hissy fit when he's getting benched for not playing D on Warrick and Bogut like he did last time we played them... A step closer to seeing his ass go...

Haywood owns Bogut...

Arenas gets a DD, a very efficient 27-10 or something close to that... CB getting more and more comfortable in Flips system and he loves playing here, gets his "usual" 20/6/4... Don't care enough about AJ to predict his stats...

I really hope Young, Blatche, McGuire & McGee get significant PT this game...

Wiz win by 8...

This will be a tough game. We are traveling and are on a b2b. Although the Bucks beat the Pacers on Monday, they suffered very close losses to the Lakers, Cavs, & SAC. With Redd back, I see us getting torched badly tonight. Bucks win.

Some matchups always give us fits and the Bucks usually have some hard matchups for us but this game comes down to one thing and one thing only. Did the Flip benching really have a carry over effect? The starters were much more aggressive in the 4th, took the ball to the hoop or came forward the whole quarter, and I didnt see a single bad shot. If we play like that then we will win because Caron ususally plays well in his hometown, there 4's cant guard AJ, and if Gil is right & aggressive then he should abuse the smaller Jennings & Luke. Dont bail them out by taking long J's. If you drive on them then you will get a layup, a foul, or an open shot for someone else. The key matchup is Redd vs Foye & Young. That should be intersesting. I pray that this is one of those games where he doesnt just come off of screens and never misses. If he's on then he's very hard to stop with his stroke and him being a lefty no matter how good your D is, espically with him coming hard off screens.

The bottom line is this. Sooner or later we have to win one of these games. Its like every single time this year you thought we were turning the corner, we then get brought back to earth. We cant get any momentum going. Its the same thing for individual players in games. Its like no one can hit 3 or 4 shots in a row. Sooner or later it has to start clicking. Im nearly 100% sure we will beat the Wolves if we win this game so we need this win to make it 4 of 5 going into Memphis with a confident team and a finally confident Arenas. If you do that with Miller soon coming back then everything starts to change

With Caron playing in front of his (nearby Racine) hometown fans I'm always concerned for his health. He always tends to try to put out extra effort, upmph, gumption, put a little mustard on his dunks, and in the past has instead collected injuries. Here's hoping he gets out of Wisconsin in one piece, injury free.

Haywood got short(er) minutes last night and should be fresh against
Bogut who as others pointed out, he has done well against.

I'm a little worried about Foye on Redd. Foye did passably well
in the start last night but I still like N1 as the starter. Or MMillions
who thinks he's ready.

:)

We can't let Warrick go off like he did last time.

We're going out sledding tonight (take that CCJ!) so I'll be watching the
game on tape delay.

Touche, jim!

Just yesterday I spoke with my dad on the phone and told him that I wished I could be out there (he's in NOVA) to experience the snow. I'm not gonna lie and say I'd rather be there :) for long, but I do miss the seasons this time of year.

Well jim, we're only here because of this great travel firm called the US military. It offers great family travel plans (with occasional stops for active duty members to places like Iraq or Afghanistan). When you said your wife would just about kill to get here, I thought to myself, YES. That's what many have to do. :)

Mele Kalikimaka, jim!

I wish everyone a blessed holidays.

I would be remiss not to add Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season. Be of good cheer. Don't feel guilty if you can't afford to send as many gifts this season. Love is free to extend at all times.

(To any who have actual combat experience or who've had to face threat of IEDs and suicide bombers, family issues, etc.; forgive me for making light of something that's not at all funny--not that I would know most of that first hand. Still, be of good cheer.)

Despite the $h!tty season. I take solace in whopping EJ's arse twice. I feel vindicated. He should really pick up another hobby. Coaching is not his forte.

The Bucks aren't much better than us at this point.

They're 4-11 in their last 15 games with Jennings losing the touch that made him a surefire R.O.Y.

Agree, miller. But, as was stated above, we are on the second leg of a b2b.

I think we lose this one...
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Oh yeah, we'll probably lose. I just wanted to point out we're facing equal competition.

I kinda like our chances primarily because Gil is starting to roll and
Jennings has little chance of defending him if he starts to go off
again tonight. He could easily get 40 in that scenario.

But many other scenarios are within the realm of possibility as well.

I don't like our chances because the last game gave hope. This team has a pattern of pulling you back in just to disappoint.

i mentioned this last time we played them. jenning is going to settle into reality and become an average player. i've played like he has. no fear, sky's the limit and have won plenty of officiated games single handedly. but reality is a bitch and the higher you rise you lower you'll fall.

Holy crap you've had 55 points in an NBA game? How old are you? Can the Bucks trade for your rights? :D

The Jennings love got out of control early no doubt about that, but the day that 20/6/4 is even approaching 'average' for an NBA rookie PG you should let me know. The only way he ever ends up 'average' is if the league average is really, really good.

I think the Wiz can win this game if Gil can actually perform 2 nights ins a row again. Short of that, will be a long night for the Wiz.
