Personally, I suspect that there will be an announcement forthcoming soon that Arenas and Crittendon have been suspended indefinitely, pending the outcome of an investigation. There really isn't any choice. Professional athletes can't be allowed to pull weapons on one another any place at any time, least of all at the arena....

Suspension????You might even be able to void his contract.

Bill Simmons: FYI: if Gilbert is convicted of a felony, the Wiz can void his horrific contract ASAP. No wonder they reported it so quickly! Over 3 hours ago

I hope he is not only suspended for the season I hope he serves time for this. I can see DC using Arenas as an example the same way NY used Plaxico.

what does that have to do with what he said? He said that its not true. If thats the case then I dont think the penalties would be that stiff. Hopefully that is the case or hopefully they cant prove it did happened. I think it will be hard to prove.

I've just finish reading ESPN and Arenas is making statements like nothing happened. I think this is a hoax.

Yep, if this true, then I would have expected both to have been suspended immediately, pending the outcome the investigation. This IMO would be serious enough to warrant an indefinite suspension right now. With guns involved, you'd want the guilty parties out of the locker room ASAP.

Problem is, neither has been suspended as of yet. Gil is still practicing & playing. So that tells me something is up. We don't know the real story yet.

Dat- With more and more information coming out by the hour, I may have to change my original suspension guess...prolong it to remainder of the season? Gulp.

:o :-?

That should mark the end of that MORON'S professional basketball career. That is some unspeakable crap. Making ten's of millions of dollars, face of a franchise and bringing weapons in the locker room. HIS CAREER NEEDS TO BE OVER.

There are no words that adequately describe how stupid that is.
