Wood MVP. He's one of few who can match up w. Superman. How nice w/o ej's idiotic pack it in schemes. Everyone except ej realized wood doesn't need help.

Haywood had a TS% of 100%. That's an efficient night.

Having MM back was the key but without Haywood stopping Howard and grabbing 15 boards, there would be no game.

AJ gets 2nd because he lead the way.

But MM at 3rd was very key.

....Twan can kiss my ass with his out of rhythm, contested jumpshots and late game butter fingers. Anybody got a text version of his speech? I want to print it out and wipe my behind with it later.

Haywood

Miller looked a little rusty, hesitated on some shots he should have taken, made some bad passes, and otherwise turned the ball over a number of times (and looked hilarious running around the court, trying to get the attention of one ref after another, each ignoring him). With all that, he was still a distant second.

Jamison had the SPEECH, the shots (most FGs made and most "why did you shoot that" chucks), many RBs, a few moments of defense (and a few more of the opposite).

Foye missed a ton of shots, but made a few along with some nifty passes, and otherwise he looked pretty fearless trying to fill Arenas' shoes. Not hard to do, but he plays better D.

Butler had a decent all around game undone by many senseless passes that led to TOs. Had a lot of Mourning-like chest thumping too. Very unseemly.

Forget the others. Haywood.

I would love to build this team around Miller and Haywood because I feel they do things to help the TEAM win. If we could find other guys like them to fill our other holes (namely at power forward and both guard spots) this would be a solid playoff team.

I don't see how anyone who watched that game couldn't say Haywood and AJ as 1 & 2. Miller had a triumphant return and really stabilizes that lineup, but he was a distant third on this night given AJ's performance and speech and Wood's rebounding and defense.

I thought Foye's offense was key early and this has clearly been his best game (although he didn't shoot terribly well). Figured I'd throw him a bone.
