The only thing dumber than pulling them out in the locker room would be to THEN hide them in your house.

Everyone knows the best place to hide a gun is a guitar case, just ask Delonte West.

Critt is a bad boy. I think everything got screwed up and now cats are scambling. By that I mean that Gil genuinely told Critt that he would take the heat for it but then he didnt wan to lie to the feds and other players were leaking stuff so the story about Critt had to come out. The problem is that going off what Gil told him, Critt probably already told the team and others that he never had a gun. The great thing is that they didnt find it at the VC and he hasnt been talking. Now they went to his house and they didnt find anything. Realistically this coud be one of those cases where they let Gil off easy because everyone said that Critt was the most dangerous one but now they dont have enough evidence against Critt to pin him down so he also gets off scott free.
You could say that Stern has to come down hard on him but is it really fair to do that if no one ever has a case against him? That wouldnt be fair and his lawyer & agent would eat the NBA up. The 1 problem is that the Justice system and NBA doesnt like to lose so I could see them bringing in players to testify against him and that would be so ugly. I hope they dont do something like that. Its not there fault that they were there. If Critt stays quiet and they dont find any guns then he could be totally off the hook though

Dudes, that gun is in the bottom of the potomac right now.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

The irony is that Crittenton chambered a round but won't be prosecuted because he's slick enough to know that without a gun there is no case against him.
If Gil never turned the empty guns in, no matter what went down he probably wouldn't be getting prosecuted.

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Even if crit doesn't get prosecuted, he'll be cut by the wizards and won't get another deal in the NBA. His NBA career is done.
Maybe he'll avoid some jail time and get to keep what's left on the contract, but he's still losing big.

Is there a reason why he's not already gone? Screw the pending investigation...he's garbage. It's clear that we can just go pick up any one out there (like Earl Boykins) and they'll be 10x better than he is.

Only thing dumber than that would be turning your unlicensed guns over to authorities.

Most likely done because he sucks. Artest and Stephen Jackson are still playing. Javaris hasn't been charged with anything.
