Talk me off the ledge

Hello Wizards Fans,
I am about to jump….. I have become so disenchanted with both the Wizards and the NBA. I have been a lose sleep at night, die hard Wizards fans since 1992 the year they drafted Tommy G. I think the draft with Zo, Shaq, Jimmy J, Christian, Sprewell etc… was the most star powered draft I can remember, disappointing results but what a college draft. When I met my wife in 93’ it was almost like the scene from “Dinner”, she had to know all the Wizard players before I would take her to a game with me. From 93 to 2006 my father and I went to every opening game together. I remember the day they traded for CWebb and signed Howard, WOW! The drafting of Sheed instead of KG. The trading of Sheed for Strickland. I remember the Saturday afternoon the next summer when Howard signed with the Heat and walking around listening to 980’s special live broadcast as people killed Abe. The NBA saving the Wiz and getting Howard Back. The playoff round against the Bulls and Jordan saying the Wiz were next. The next year CWebb dislocates his Shoulder and Howard looks like a real power forward in an overtime win against the Knicks. The rape charge, the worst trade in NBA history, the arrival of old man Richmond……..The opening game the next season and Howard getting blocked on a turn around and then turning to my father saying “OH S%&T he has no power and he is our power forward! The best player in the history of the Game comes to run our team. Trades the untradeable Howard, Drafts the biggest bust in NBA history comes back and plays, watch out NBA Jordan built his own team! Nothing! Not even a first round exit! Watching Kobe score 45 on Jordan in LA and knowing it’s over. Watching the soap opera in the halls of MCI and Jordan gets fired. Somehow we stumble on to Gil and two years later we are in the playoffs with a new young, talented, fast, offensive team that has Gil, Hughes and Jamison. We beat the Bulls in one of the best, most enjoyable and exciting playoffs series I remember watching. Exit Hughes, enter Tough juice. Here comes King James. A fluke accident there goes his Knee and boom were back at the bottom. Gils coming back, all the reports are good. It’s going to be a great season. We trade for solid vets, the season is going to be great. We hire Flip, this is our year!
Gilbert Arenas acting a fool kills a team, the hearts of a Fan base and meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Too late I jumped.
