Real GM Wizboard Poster of the Month/Quarter/Year

I don't have a burning desire to start new posts, maybe just a mild itch. But the doc gave me a soothing creme, so it's not so bad.

Seriously though, in light of recent posts focused on members of the board (some deserved, some just amusing as hell), I wanted to propose the idea of making a "Poster of the Month/Quarter/Year"--just like in the NBA there's a player of the week/month & MVP. Why not have something similar on the board?

Although, I'm not really sure how frequently the honor should be given. Maybe once a month is so often that we run out of honorees? Or once a year is too infrequent so that those deserving don't get honored? Then again, posters change over the year(s), so maybe the week/month/MVP format could work.

After thinking over the idea for minutes on end, I'd probably vote for Poster of the Quarter if this idea goes farther than the average Lucrazi thread. So, approximately every 3 months you could post your nominee for POQ, then by a poll the board could vote on who wins the prestigious title of POQ for that particular quarter. No cash and prizes involved, but if you ever ran into Ted Leonsis, for example, wouldn't it be cool to tell him you were a Real GM Wiz Poster of the Quarter? And 2 titles could get you the nickname Two-POQ!

So, anyway, please post your thoughts, suggestions or just give me a solid IBTL if that's what this idea deserves!

Until I read your reply, I still wasn't sure if this was thread would be locked or not. But now I feel strongly that it will live on forever!

Pretty interesting idea but I don't think this board can handle it right now.
