Gil, Blatche and the DC Market

It's been and interesting month going in to the trade deadline. Then we got a breath of fresh air with some wins from a new scrappy team which may or may not last. But as I see it, there are two or three major factors to still deal with.
1 - Team getting bought
2 - What to do with Gil
2b - Can he live with Blatche as a star player
3- - Can DC get an image face lift so they can attract major stars like LA and NY
I think much of this is all tied together. Well at least 1 and 3 fit together and 2 and 2b fit together.
First and foremost, this team need to be sold to Ted. Once this happens things should change rather quickly. Look... DC is a major market in this country. There is really no reason other then team ownership and some success that we shouldn't be a top basketball market capable of attracting to NBA talent. People may want to take a fresh look at this idea. This town may not be about movies stars like LA and NY but it is a top money market and it is a basketball town. This idea needs to be worked on with proper product and proper marketing. We need a NBA basketball make over. This should be a top NBA market for players.
Next, Blatche and Gil. I haven't been very warm on the idea of bringing Gil back here. I just hasn't shown me can be trusted as a big dollar player. I haven't liked his immaturity or his fit as PG given his game and he hasn't been a two way player. That all adds up to moving him in my book. Plus...
I kind of feel like I was down on him his first year for chucking to much. Then he won me over in year two with wholesome Gil humble nice kid thing. Then he started to loose me again with what I will call his all around idiotness - predicting, I'm not a leader, blogging, B day party night before a game, poop, rehab gone wrong, opt out early for max, go to China, sign my guys demands, and lastly guns for a season suspension.
I bought into to him being everything I had hoped for over the summer only to be disappointed again. Just not sure I want to have any hope for him again. Burn me once. Burn me twice. Come on. Can anyone have hope for a third time ?
But at the same time, it is interesting to consider him and Dray playing together in perfect harmony. Not sure what we can do other then guess at how this all plays out but I though it was interesting to consider and hear what people thought.
