The Buckeroos have been playing well of late at 7-3 in their last ten, and 12-4 in their last 16, now being a pretty solid bet to finish up as the 6th seed.

The obvious matchup again is McGee against Bogut, as the forecast of the Venison going to that early are, uhm, rather high.

Jennings has the potential to take advantage of Foye based on a speed mismatch, but he's been shooting rather terribly for about the last three months or so.

The Wizards will be relying on Blatche again, as well as Blatche. However, we should also look for Blatche, as his ability to get going would take pressure of of those two.

No word as yet on the Singleton being ready.

I might even update this later with some actual information. Such is the torrent of my fandom.

The Bucks are only a game out of 5th in the East.

Aside from Cleveland, Boston, Orlando and maybe Atlanta, we really are the Leastern Conference.

Venison meets Verizon at Donktown? At this point of the season, Milwaukee is playing at peak capacity - even with Jennings learning on the job. Salmons has made a ginormous difference for them, and he matches up well with anyone the Wiz put on him. If the Wiz double down on Bogut, the Bucks have a bunch of guys spotting up for 3's.

Bucks will play their Scott Skiles styled physical defense. It'll be interesting to see how Blatche fares against it. Don't get too surprised if Bucks roll over Wiz - as they are going to be focused, hungry, and on a roll. Blatche and Thornton will have to put up huge numbers for the Wiz to win.

Gooden has been playing pretty well for the Clippers(16/10 in games on 50% FGs).

The Bucks wins have come against Miami, Charlotte, and the Hornets with other wins against the Knicks, Nets, and Pacers. Basically, they are beating the teams they are supposed to beat.

The real concern is Bogut versus McGee. Bogut might score 40.

If McGee and Oberto can keep Bogut under control, then it could be a ball game. The Bucks don't have anybody with the size and footspeed to match up with Blatche. Blatche will take Mbah down low, and he'll take Bogut out on the perimeter. Expect lots of double teams 7DD.

Overall, our chances are pretty slim. Let's face it, we're not that good. And now we're injury-depleted and not that good. There is so little margin for error. Blatche has to play well every single night, and either Foye or Thornton has to step up big every night or we have no chance against anyone. I just hope we continue to play solid D and unselfish offense. At least we've been a fun team to watch lately.

Look... if you can't see that Blatche is going to carry us to the playoffs, then I can't help you.

Career numbers for Bogut that's for sure, the Bucks are on a roll and they have Salmons who has stepped-in nicely for them. Could be our first blow-out loss since the trades.

This is going to be one of those "if only we had Haywood" nights....

Haywood was Boguts daddy. Now we can't taunt Bucks fans with PER36.

We don't have a center for a reason.

I'm usually on the late bus to give up on a season but we would have to have a miracle to make the playoffs.

No center means McGee is out there to learn while we loose.

So either

A) McGee either catches fire and we win which works because he has a very athletic McGee on fire and the dude is signed cheap and a top up and coming super star at center. Dray and McGee all the way.

or

B) Dray and other have room to grow while being competitive but we continue to loose because we can't really compete without a starting center.

A) < 5% chance
B) Most likely to happen.

We really need to the pick because we need young cheap talent with a new CBA coming soon and we are stuck with Agent Poohs contract. With the new CBA, no one is going to want to take him from us.

Regardless of if I like it, Agent Pooh will be a Wizard to start next season.

I think the Wizards can win because Bogut could get in foul trouble trying to help defend Blatche/McGee/Singleton.

If he plays over 25 minutes, I think McGee will get another double double. Teams are going to key on Blatche and Andray will pass the ball out to open shooters or to Singleton/McGee/Thornton.

Very winnable game IMO.

Anybody got an update on Singleton.. I mean he should be ready to go, he played a few minutes in the NJ game before Flip sat him, probably as a precaution. So it cant be that bad.
