What if instead of changing his number, Gilbert changed his name? Suggestions?

Dilbert Arenas, sporting a flat top haircut and horn-rimmed glasses. That'll go a long way toward changing his image.

How about 45?
...as in Colt 45?
Or the number or years left on his ginormous contract?
Or the number of years until the Wizards get out of the 2nd round?

If that's not allowed then 2-3.
Although 0 is still the best.

Well, I don't see Gilbert getting off of this island any time soon.

Re: Like Dray, Should Gil Change His Number
G'morning everyone. Hope everyone's doing okay.
I like the name change idea, which hands cleverly hinted at in the thread title: GI Jay (Jay is his middle name). Then he maybe he could also use the tagline -- A Real American Hero.
This weekend I'm going to play basketball and do some repair work on my gutters (weather permitting).
Oh yeah, has anyone seen my flash drive? Misplaced the damn thing, which is annoying because it contains virtually all the good stuff I'm working on these days. Maybe this should have its own thread?

Sounds like a fun weekend, I should probably get on my roof and check out my gutters too, but these damn hooves make it really hard for roof walking.
I need to shed some winter weight, about 10lbs....looking forward to soccer season starting outside so I can get my weight back down.

I realize that I haven't see half of the films nominated for Best Oscar. It's just too easy to wait for the Blu Ray disc and watch it at home. Avatar was the only Oscar nominated film that I saw at the theater (well-worth seeing on IMAX 3D)

Re: Like Dray, Should Gil Change His Number
Best film I saw this year was the Pixar movie, "Up." Just a terrific movie.
I haven't seen Hurt Locker yet, though. I did read the screenplay, which was good, but not great. I'll see it on DVD at some point.

Agreed. Up was my favorite movie all year, and people sometimes look at me sideways when I say that or tell me "it was a sad movie!". The same people who loved "Where the Wild Things Are", which to me was straight up open-ended and borderline depressing. Apparently they didn't make it past the 1st ten minutes of Up. Good to see it got props with the Oscar nomination.
And didn't some soldier sue the pants off "Hurt Locker" because he said it was based off his experiences? Thought I read that somewhere yesterday...

Up was great & Hurt Locker was very entertaining. I appreciate that some service-people are upset about the accuracy, but jeez, It's just a movie.
