This is the perfect game for Blatche to get back into the post going against Houston's undersized front line. Hayes is a good post defender but there is no way Dray should be stopped by him given his length.

yeah and the rookie Hill played well last game which is actually good for us because I think Dray can skool him too. They will probably put Scola on him though with alot of Jeffries so it may not be perfect but in that case McGee has to be ready to take advantage of it

Its true, Blatche should be able to play well in the post tonight, but he`s gonna need to be able to get his position closer to the basket so that he can adequately use his length over the smaller players. He should be able to catch and shoot over the top of Hayes and Scola.

Im looking to see if Livingston and Gee can get some playing tonight.

The Rockets have recently become one of the more detestably teams in the league. When their fans came to this board and carried on about how great their GM is just irritated me. Sure, he finds value for their late picks with players like Brooks and Landry and makes smart trades for Scola, but the problem is they are still only .500 and won't even make the playoffs. Their basically in a worse position the Wizards are in because they are too good to get a high pick, but not good enough to make the playoff and don't have a ton of cap space to make a quick turn around. Basically I'll take EG's best moves over Morey's best moves ten out of ten times. Thing is, Morey consistently makes solid moves, but never great moves. EG either made great moves, or terrible moves.

I hope the Wiz stick it to them, and to be frank, I hope the Knicks land Lebron so this perceived great trade Morey made to take on JJ blows up.

they're just embittered, with Tmac and Yao's injuries they are the only organization close to as cursed to us in the health department. i'm sure they think with those various pieces and Yao and Tmac back and healthy they would be world champions, like some around here thought of the Wiz a couple years back.

I gotta disagree here. They just added Kevin Martin and will be adding Yao next year. They have a perfectly balanced lineup with a bunch of guys who can defend. You can make a case that they're a step below elite level because they lack a superstar (assuming Yao never returns to superstar form), but that's not due to poor management. It takes a lot of luck to land a superstar.

I might go for a single, is $20 a reasonable offer?

Not to mention potentially two very high lottery picks, depending on what happens to the Knicks this summer.

On-paper this should be a blow-out win for Houston tonight, I am hoping that the guys are pissed about the Boston choke-job and we have a shocker tonight.

When Blatche is an all star, he wont get called for those (Please Use More Appropriate Word) charge calls.

I just learned, via Barbara Walters, that "(Please Use More Appropriate Word)" is considered a pejorative term, and that "developmentally disabled" is the preferred term. I had no idea.

Dray is still settling way too much lately. He's turning into AJ with all the jumpers. Back these guys down. Even the couple of turnarounds he hit werent that great because he's only like taking 2 back down dribbles and then shooting a hard fadeaway. Man, Hayes is like 5'2. Dont pick up the dribble until you have to. Keep backing him down until you get to as close as you want to get

I used to volunteer for an organization called Volunteers for the Visually Handicapped. But users of the service were insulted by the word "handicapped". Eventually, the name was changed to Services for the Visually Impaired. The hard of seeing community prefers to be called "impaired" rather than "handicapped" - kinda like basketball officials.
