Gee.....what could go wrong.

Dray says that he never said he didnt want to play and I think he said that its Flip who took him out and he is mad after hearing what Flip said. He said no coach talked to him except Gene Banks and all he did was tell him to keep his head up and stuff like that.

See this is my point. Dray is still saying right now that he never said any of the stuff they are saying and he’s upset and is not going to apologize because he didnt do anything wrong or say anything

ADAMANT that Flip is lying and he NEVER said he didn't want to go back in the game.

he also said for the media to get the coaches that said they came to him and asked them if they talked to me. He said wont none of them tell you that because it didnt happened. He also said that if anyone was sitting in the front row they could see that I had my ice pad on all game and was waiting to come in. He said Im now the head guy on the team and why would I risk it by not going in. He said he wouldnt do that. He also said that he wants to be here. He also now says he wants an apology

He said that he is also upset at Flip going to the media about this stuff and then lying on top of it

Dray says he wishes this never happened, but that this will blow over. Wants an apology from Flip.

he said he understands the fans being upset about that story but its not true

I totally believe Dray. A friend who watched the game on-tape said there didn't appear to be anything wrong. I will reserve final judgement until I see the tape myself, but what I suspect is that Flip was pissed by ___ and he benched Dray, that's what Flip does. Flip is a punative, punishing kind of coach.

Again, I want to see the tape.

Btw, the 106.7 web site is one of the worst sports web sites I have ever seen, totally emabrassing for a major market radio station.

clos, guess what and I swear? I was the guy who called in twice today defending Dray and telling them to wait until they hear his side 1st

its messed up because he just said that he doesnt want to make Flip looks bad and he hopes it just blows over. Its like he cant defend himself without making Flip look bad so no one wins and thats why you dont go to the media like that

dude, they were going in on Blatche. I didnt really defend him as much as I just said that they should wait to here both sides. The only reason why I called back is because I was cut off and I wanted to talk about how low his contract is because they said he has to go

I was just **** with ya....

You'd think one of them has to be lying, but it could be a case of massively misunderstanding each other. Blatche tends to mumble, and Flip was wound up. They both communicated poorly, and the result is a debacle. That's my guess.

Blatche even said that he thinks it was a misunderstanding and he's not trying to make Flip look bad
