I review the Thunder's GL season

I'm sure in 20 years I'll have a blast re-reading my analysis when one of these guys wins NBA MVP or something

I cannot do this for all teams, and will likely switch to Sonics GL in that future time, but for now, OKC gets the review treatment.

Also whooooof, this was a rough year for OKC Blue, one of the worst teams, why did I put myself through this ? I could've been doing so many cool things like [connection lost, inappropriate subject content]

We have our Championship matchup!

It's the Stockton Kings against the Greensboro Swarm!!

The interesting thing here is.... Stockton are the defending champs... Charlotte are the defending SL champs.... and Charlotte beat Sacramento in the SL Championship game.

Stockton, last year, beat the Magic in the GL Finals in a 3-game series!

This should be a very competitive series as well. Both teams have played very well in the playoffs and now have the chance to leave as GL champs.

Stockton, for what it is worth, can enter rarified air with a repeat GL championship, only achieved once before (Asheville Altitude).

Let's go!

It was a pretty fun first GL Finals game with Greensboro coming out with a victory over Stockton, in Greensboro.

Three Swarm players had double digit rebounds, 20 rebound advantage in the game. Gotta fight for possessions, it ended up being quite close 4-pt win.

GBO won by 4 -- some of the factors at play --
The Swarm...
made fewer FGs
had half as many assists
committed more TOs
made fewer 3s

Stockton - win the margins and 4 factors, you win the next one.
Greensboro - up the level with the rebound adv retained, this is a blow out.
