Houston's GM seems to think it is going to be Hassan Whiteside. Who do you all think?
You can't go wrong with Jerome Jordan either imo, a big man shooting 92% at the line.

I think Jerome Jordan looked the best at day one of the showcase and is most likely to be called up.

Jordan's FTs won't continue, not that I think this takes him out of consideration. He looks like he's filled out a little bit, and that's one of his biggest things, in my opinion.
I also think Whiteside is a good bet.

Houston really has no need to call up another center, though.
As for Jordan, i agree with yourself and others in this thread. He can probably start on a few teams - such as portland not least. What separates Deandre from Jerome Jordan ? The latter might even be better, as a matter of fact. It's all about opportunity. He was a beast overseas. A bit foul prone, but great offensively.
Another name i'd throw out, though haven't watched him in d-league, is Ohlbrecht.

It doesn't have to be Houston; it can be any team.
The only players shielded from call-ups are players on assignment from their NBA teams. Whiteside isn't on assignment -- he's just a player for the Vipers, not a player for the Rockets playing for the Vipers.

Wolves just signed Chris Johnson from Santa Cruz to a 10-day contract

Whiteside has impressing numbers in limited minutes.
So that begs the question, why isn't he playing more? Granted, Rio grande has a plethora of good big men especially when the Rox assign their players.
@DEvin 1L
I knew that much. Perhaps a misunderstanding
