Happy to be a part of the group here that pays attention and checks in to the G-League! And as a moderator, I'll be fair and happy to chat with anyone. Thank you, Parl, for the nice thread.

I'm a fan of GL because I like to see how players work their way up, and hopefully make a professional career out of it, NBA or otherwise. There's still some pretty good basketball happening. Also a bonus is that GL is available on YT overall for free, except ESPN+ games.

My brother and I talk basketball a lot, thankfully I have a real life outlet to talk ball, but we have a funny phrase when any player throws down a massive dunk or drives full-turbo to the lane, "He's gone full G-League!" we say. That's what gets a note from me mentally, because I like to see basketball action with reckless abandon to give the people what they want. A jaw dropping moment or two goes a long way in the history books.

Anyway, don't be caus'n trouble round here. lol

I'm a writer and a musician, so I'll leave you with a quote as Parl has done, too.

“I believe that reading and writing are the most nourishing forms of meditation anyone has so far found. By reading the writings of the most interesting minds in history, we meditate with our own minds and theirs as well. This to me is a miracle.”
