Kaun - first russian to win in NCAA?

Post#1 » by @ndrew » Tue Apr 8, 2008 12:00 pm

I'm not a big fan of NCAA tournament, but this russian brought much attention to it.
So, I was looking for the answer - Did Kaun become the first russian to win NCAA title?
Or if can provide the link for the all championships roster from 1990, I can check by myself.
Thanks a lot!

A little thing we like to call the Soviet Union. One of the reasons Arvydas Sabonis, not a Russian but still a Soviet as a Lithuanian, was unable to come over and play in the NBA back in the 80's.
Jerry Reinsdorf; the undisputed king of allowing his GM's to run amok with unchecked power and ego. :king:
