Friend just sent me a congratulatory text, but I can't confirm.

Anyone?

On Google News, they are just saying he's leaning heavily towards Nova.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

It makes sense he'd stay close to home, especially when he's likely 1 and done.

I bet he winds up in Memphis.

He's not exactly a great student, showcasing his talent for the draft is his only concern. Nova has Reynolds, Fisher and Stokes at guard, even Malcolm Grant will get time. Memphis is losing CDR and Rose.

I'd bet he's waiting for Rose to declare.

Kid played it smart. Waited and waited, saw the opening with Rose leaving and stepped into a great situation for himself individually. Evans, Kemp, Anderson, Dozier and Taggert. If Evans is as good as all the hype then that's a top 10 team. I expect big things from Taggart next year.
Jerry Reinsdorf; the undisputed king of allowing his GM's to run amok with unchecked power and ego. :king:

I of all people am most upset with Evan's decision to go to Memphis. However, this is not my reason for locking this thread.

Memphisgrizzlies, it has been 2 months since the last response and I don't feel that it is appropriate to recirculate this in order to rub in Evans's decision. It is only going to cause tension on the board. Please do not bring up any old threads, and avoid starting conflict.
