What's the low down on the kid? Is he potentially Andray Blatche, Chris Bosh or some where in between?

Just finished watching him play against Maryland. He reminds me a lot of LMA with his size and build plus his mobility and coordination. He really gets up and down the floor really well often beating many of the guards.

He passes very, very well out of the double and showed some nice offensive spin moves out of the post as well as a running baby hook that he went to and hit a few times.

I really like the guy, I dunno why people are so down on him. I might be biased though, he's a guy I've seen a lot of since his high school isn't really far from me.

Good athlete for his size. Excellent passer and a nice shooting touch. Aldridge is probably a good comparison.

He is going to be a better pro than LaMarcia.

Agreed. He's a great passer for his size, and is a perfect fit in JT III Princeton offense. For once, GTown is actually fun to watch and i's mostly because of Monroe.
Do you guys think he should come out this year?

I don't don't know much about this kid but ESPN was showing his "lowlight" in a game. They were pointing out mistake he was making in a game. It was strange.

He is the best freshman in college basketball hands down. No one has the skillset of this kid. He is far beyond his years and will only continue to improve his understanding of the game. And, that is a scary thought.
