Only 1 ACC Currently Ranked

Duke is #5 but is the only ranked team for the ACC. I can't think of a time when this has happened before in my memory.

Is this representing a significant down year for the league or are the non-Duke squads just too tightly matched up so that they keep beating eachother down the polls?

In both polls, 4 ACC teams are on the bubble among the teams "also receiving votes."

It is certainly a down year for the league. There are a lot of deserving tourney worthy teams, but non in the real upper echelon. I'm not buying into Duke just yet.

Duke, despite their high ranking, has played a cushioned home schedule. If they were in the Big East imo, they would be behind GTown.
