maybe a young team, but I'm not sure how his coaching style would affect seasoned vets

As it currently stands, I'd say no. His brash style of coaching is fine for college, but if he's going to do that in the NBA, at the very least he'd need to win a title in college or get damn close a few times to gain some credibility. I think even younger NBA players would tune him out given his current resume.
