Austin is just tremendous. He played with the age group above him and thrived. I see no reason why he cannot star right away at Duke. Good to see some potential one and dones going to Coach K.

I just enjoyed watching the video of him crossing up Derrick Rose! Definitely looks like he will have some huge expectations!

No chance imo. Duke lands a certain type of player, and I do not see Quincy Miller especially fitting that mold. He's a clear cut one and done player, not the heady point guard type like Irving or Rivers.

They might not the highest ranked classes, but Coach K always gets the players he wants. In this case, Rivers is the best prospect in the nation and the type of player Coach K wants to coach. He's got intangibles and an amazing ability to score the ball. Duke is going to be SCARY over the next couple of years. Watch Out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Rivers viewed as a combo guard that doesn't seem very adept at handling the PG duties? Would be awesome though if he had some PG skills à la Steph Curry.

Duke is going to be scary good the next few years.

No, you are right that he is more similar to Stephen Curry than a pure point guard. I may have misspoken a bit because after watching him play several times, I noticed that he is a solid playmaker and is pretty ball dominant. He might be effective off the ball, but in most of the instances I have seen him play, he has commanded the ball pretty much at all times. (given, this is likely because he is far and away the best player on his high school team) I'm pretty certain that DX would agree with your evaluation, but I did notice that he is a gifted playmaker and this might allow him to convert to the point guard position at some point. Obviously, he is a scorer first and foremost though.

So does Seth Curry remain a shooting guard?
