At one point he was hyped to be the next Marbury. He was pretty fun to watch at St. John's. I admit I thought he'd make for a good PG in the league.

Solid, unselfish point guard overseas imo. Saw him play a couple of times for Unicaja- he does not really look for his own offense as much as he did in college.

I remember Omar Cook averaging 8apg as a college freshman. Thought he was going to be a real solid NBA point guard some day.

He probably could have been with better luck. But he didn't need to be. He's put together a hell of a European career, is rich, famous, good and successful. And Montenegrin.

In last two months, Cook is playing very good.
Today, in Euroleague 1/4's against Real Madrid:
20 points, 6 assists.

Warriors drafted Steve Logan with our second rounder and thought he could be a solid backup point guard or at least a project. He averaged 20ppg in his last season in college and figured he could just come in and score off the bench kinda like JJ barea.
