He's going to Indiana in 2012 and is ranked 17th on Rivals. After seeing some of his game footage, I see no reason he won't be in the top ten be seasons end. He's also not from a broken area, his head is straight. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as a top draft pick.

he's the best PG in his class. if he was a couple inches taller, he'd be a great prospect as well. even at his size i still think yogi's gonna make it and be an impact player in the NBA. he's too good not to.
he's a rare breed of PG who can play quickly but still distribute and make great decisions.

Bassy was quicker, but yogi's extremely quick as well. Bassy relied on his quickness for everything, whereas yogi plays quick but intelligently and under control. Yogi's easily the smarter, better coached player as a prep which makes him the better passer and defender. He makes smart passes as well as creative passes. Yogi's easily the better distributor and is better at setting the table. Bassy was more of a showman who looked to make the flashy pass and would dominate the ball to do so. He also was much more of a ball-dominant scorer who was forced into doing everything for his HS team, which IMO, also forced him to develop bad habits and instincts for a PG which made his transition very difficult because he had to completely transform his style of play. Telfair was the more laterally quick player but that didnt translate to much on the defensive end other than gambling for steals. Both will always have a disadvantage in terms of size, but since yogi's more well-schooled, he does a better job being sound and staying in front of his man.

^Yeah the Indiana style ball is more geared toward fundamentals and versatility. It is something that is necessary at the top level unless you have ungodly talent.
