Not sure if this has been posted but I thought I would mention it as I was a fan of his. He had a tough run. Drafted 8th overall in 95 and left the NBA quietly due to stomach cancer. Well deserved recognition! The man was a beast during his prime.

As a Bucks fan, I remember eagerly waiting for Respert''s rookie season to pair him with Glen Robinson. I, and many other people, couldn't understand why Respert was having such a tough time. When the news came out later about his cancer, it all made sense. What a shame, the guy could really shoot.
