is it my imagination but that when the playing field is relatively even, that is to say the heavily talented elite teams are less so, that wright, self, and izzo do very well.

a few caveats,,, kansas recruits as well as anybody all the time and maybe izzo this year is off, but on these parity years self really does well. his last championship was in a similar environment.

izzo, is always good but also always loses when faced against the superior talent of ky/duke/unc.
