Scotty Pippen Jr., son of Scottie Pippen, commits to Vanderbilt

Scotty Pippen Jr. announced his commitment to Vanderbilt on Friday night. Heâ€™s a 6-foot-1 point guard out of Sierra Canyon High School (California) and is considered a four-star prospect.

200ish ranked player from his class. Good looking prospect and should hopefully have a decent college career. Chances for him to ever sniff the nba are pretty low. Best of luck to him.

Completely true, and I agree with you. But you could have said the same thing about his dad when he went to Arkansas.

Going to miss seeing Scottie at Sierra Canyon games. Jr is a very well rounded player, not a star guy by any means though

Central Arkansas at that and didnâ€™t even have a position on the team until some teammates quit. He was 6â€™3â€ his freshman year. We will have to see if his son has a similar late growth spurt.
