Going into Big East play, Notre Dame still quietly holds the nations longest running home winning streak. They last lost a game in South Bend in February of 2006.

Their non-conference schedule usually sucks (and does this year), but 28 games is still impressive playing in such a compeititive conference. Where do you think it will end?

They avoid two teams that historically give them trouble (Villanova/Georgetown) at home, so I really think every game is winnable. They'll probably drop a couple, but they're very, very good in the Joyce Center.

ND stretches the streak to 29 games with a win over West Virginia.

Luke Harangody is seriously underrated. He's not the type of guy who will be a pro, but he's a damn good college player. 17.7 points, 8.9 boards in 25 minutes before tonight's monster game of 29/16. And he's only a soph.

Marquette looks like their toughest challenge at home. Notre Dame's biggest weakness is team quickness. Marquette has that in spades. The Irish are very solid though.

I'd agree in regards to the frontcourt. The backcourt is very fast, with two PG's playing in it including one of the faster guys in college ball (Tory Jackson). But the Irish bigs are damn slow, they haven't been able to recruit the athletic bigs some bigger programs get. If Marquette runs a 3-guard offense, the speed could give ND trouble.

ND took down UConn to make it 30 games. They go on the road at Marquette before Cincinnatti has their chance to end the streak.
