The Big East from top to bottom (G-Town to South Florida) has the easiest OUT OF CONFERENCE SCHEDULE. Don't be fooled by their bottom feeders. They don't play anyone and if they did, they lost.

The Big 12 and PAC plays the toughest Out Of Conference schedule.

The Big East is still an elite conference, possibly the best in the country top-to-bottom. Syracuse, Georgetown, UConn(vict), Pitt, Louisville, Marquette, and Villanova are all top level national programs. Throw in Notre Dame, West Virginia, Cincinnati, and Seton Hall and you've got a lot of solid teams. Even the "bottom-feeders" are solid teams.

Big East is the best and most exciting conference in the Nation.

This Nova' / Cinci game 2 has been rediculous. Nova was down by 16 and came from behind now leading by 3. Antonio Pena has been dominant in the post and we all know about Nova's guard play.

Their strength is average among the top conferences this year. A little lacking for elite teams (probably G-town only) but deep and balanced beyond.

They should get 8 bids. While it seems like a lot, it's only 50% of the conference, so pretty much the same as 6 bids for a 12-team conference.

South Florida, St. John's and Rutgers away from the RAC. Those are the only easy games in the conference. There's 13 teams that can beat a good team on any given night.

Georgetown may be the only "elite" team, but Louisville, Marquette, Notre Dame, UConn and Pitt (when healthy) are all good enough to be Top 25 teams.

BIg East has the best depth in regards to good teams. I like the SEC's just as much tho.

Except neither will play for the remainder of the season. True though, if they had a little more guard depth they'd be very dangerous.

Georgetown (6th)
Marquette (16th)
Connecticut (19th)
Pittsburgh (21st)
Notre Dame (22nd)

Louisville could get in with a good week too. I think Marquette is a little overrated right now though.

The Big East is excellent this year (but I wish every season that they would upgrade their out of conference schedule).

They should have a Big East/SEC challenge game. Also they should include atleast one Atlantic 10 and MVC game per big east team. If they do that, they will earn my respect for their OOC games.
