Vanderbilt vs. South Carolina tonight as the Commodores kick off conference play. This is a huge game in College Basketball, a heated, historic rivalry that dates all the way back to whenever it was the Gamecocks joined the SEC. Wikipedia says 1991. That's a long time.

Anyway, Go Dores! Shan Foster for SEC player of the year.

Huge game against traditional college basketball superpower Kentucky. Should be a great game and a good way to warm up for some NFL action.

"Devastating" is a bit strong. It happens. Cheer up, you're still 15-1 and looking damn good.

Vandy is good but will need to hit the boards a lot harder against Tennessee than they did against UK.

I was there and my ears are freaking ringing. That was as loud a crowd as I've seen in a while. They had 30-40 cops rush the court with spray after the game to make sure the students couldn't go.
