I'm picking K-State not because I think they're that great, I just think Wisconsin is really overrated. Having seen them in person, I don't think they'll be quick enough to handle Walker and Beasley.

They survived their scare from Belmont, and I really think Coach K has them ready to play today. West Virginia is more of a well known commodity.
4:20 - #11 Kansas State vs #3 Wisconsin
I was crucified by my friends for taking USC over Kansas State and Wisconsin putting them into the sweet 16. Seeing as how I go to Wisconsin, I probably deserve it. However, USC scared me A LOT more because they can defend, get up and down the court, and put up points in a hurry. Kansas State is a half court team much like Wisconsin. Unfortunately for them, Wisconsin is much better at it.
4:40 - #6 Purdue vs #3 Xavier
Xavier just wasn't impressive in their first round matchup. I have them in the sweet 16, but I'd probably change that today. The thing that worried me most about Purdue was the fact that they were so young. They certainly didn't come out with that deer in the headlights look that they came out with in the Big 10 tourney.
6:40 - #5 Notre Dame vs #4 Washington State
Kurz and Harangody are an absolute load in the paint. I don't see Washington State having any answer for that.
6:45 - #6 Marquette vs #3 Stanford
Stanford gets solid guard play. Combine that with two very good 7 footers in the middle and you have problems for Marquette. Let's face it, they only have four players over 6'8. Fitzgerald isn't going to do anything in the way of slowing down the Lopez twins and I doubt, guys like Barro, Burke, and Blackledge will either.
6:50 - #8 UNLV vs #1 Kansas
Kansas is playing as well as anyone in the country, they have more talent than any other teams in the midwest region by an extremely wide margin.
9:10 - #5 Michigan State vs #4 Pittsburgh
I think the popular pick will be Pitt because of how well they are playing. Nobody saw their Big East tourney run ending the way it did. Sooner or later they'll falter. I think that happens against Michigan State. Neitzel had a poor showing in round one. He's had a down season compared to last year, but the guy is a gamer. He'll be huge in a Michigan State win.
9:15 - #9 Texas A&M vs #1 UCLA
Love, Collison, Westbrook, Shipp, Texas A&M doesn't have a shot.
