Where Will John Wall Commit?

John Wall is the #1 ranked recruit in the country according to Scouts.com. He has put off his recruiting for a while now, and I'm sure every college wants John Wall to come to them. It looks like Memphis and Baylor are the front-runners, with Duke, Miami, Kansas, NC State, and Oregon still in the hunt. My question to you is where do you think John Wall will commit?
STRENGTHSAbility to Create
Finisher
Speed/Quickness
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT Changes Speeds
Mid-Range Game
Perimeter Shot
One of the top prospects in North Carolina's Class of 2009. Wall is extremely difficult to guard and his quickness to the hoop provides issues for defenders. His coming out party was at Reebok U. A speed merchant who specializes in separating himself from defenders, he's one of the fastest risers in his class. The perimeter game is the area needing improvement. Lock high-major prospect and a potential national level recruit.

My bet is on Baylor because I think that he wants to be the go-to scorer on his team. On Memphis, he would have to share time with Henry and potentially Evans.

I'm thinking he throws everyone for a loop and goes to Arizona or UCLA if Jrue declares.

No chance he does that.

My bet is on Baylor too. The fact that they are even still in the running this late speaks volumes, and I know one of the coaches there (or head of player development, some position) was his former AAU coach. They only hired him trying to get Wall.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. One of those schools is getting a stud though. If you haven't seen him play he will be playing at this years Nike Hoop Summit. Yahoo Sports is doing a live webcast of the game for free on April 11th at 10pm EST.
Check it out.

I'll believe it when he signs. Memphis already has an historically loaded class. I feel like at this point that's more of a deterrent than a draw (considering potentially playing time issues).

John Wall will start and play major minutes with whatever school he goes to

You're saying he'd start over any PG in the country? He's good but that's a bold statement. Physically he's there, but mentally there's still a lot of room for improvement (However, I would agree he'd be the top PG prospect on any team he goes to, even if he doesn't start).
Anyway Memphis could easily have a new Fab Five next year:
C - DeMarcus Cousins
PF - Will Coleman (yes I know he's JC)
SF - Xavier Henry
SG - Nolan Dennis
PG - John Wall
And that wouldn't even include Darnell Dodson who's probably the weakest of the bunch (and a good player in his own right). Even if Evans goes pro, they're set for awhile...

Baylor- They hired his advisor already and I hear it's all but a done deal. If not there then I hear NC State. I also read where Duke never officially offered him.

I have two sources with this recruiting process one is telling me Memphis, the other is telling me NCSU for what it's worth.

Me too. A source says he is taking his last official visit to Lexington, I would be shocked if he doesn't go there, Duke offered him over last weekend finally but I think it was a little too late!

UK's JC PG and HS PG recruits under Gillispie both announced they are going elsewhere over the last day. Their starting PG last year looks likely to graduate early and move on to be with his wife and new born child. I am thinking UK has a very good chance here.

While it may be a longshot, and I kid you not. UNC and John Wall are flirting again...

I saw that on rivals. Doesn't NC already have a 5 star in Strickland coming in next season though?

Strickland is more of a combo guard. Wall would give UNC 3 straight elite level PG's in Felton, Lawson, and Wall. I think its a longshot anyway, but I can dream right? Wall and Strickland would be a freakish backcourt.
