Moral of this story: never bet on Notre Dame to win anything. Bet on them to make it to a game they have no business being in (esp. in football) but as for winning? nope.

How many people out there that did not go to Murry State picked them over 'Nova?

Finished up 8-8 yesterday but today is looking better. At least all of my Final Four picks are still alive!

I have Murray St. in the Sweet 16.

Murray St. has the emotional-circumstance-that-brings-a-team-together thing going for its chances, what with the death of Picasso Simmons' mother getting in a fatal car wreck the day before the tourney. I know that all these schools play their hearts out but these type of events seem to maximize the capacity to lay it all out on the floor with no fear whatsoever. To a lesser extent BYU has a close team due in part to Dave Rose's cancer battle before the season. These type of events usually make teams especially dangerous because they'll almost always want it more than you do.

In a way I like it when my bracket is busted because then I can just sit back and enjoy the tournament without rooting against the smaller schools I picked to lose.
