Ace just seems like such a miserable fit for Philly. He's so many years away and he's a player type that they hate.
They would have to spend the first two years getting the bad habits out of him before he could be the third option.

I think given what they have, he is a good fit for them. His size, shooting, and defense are going to make him a contributor day 1 and on a team with Maxey, McCain, George, and Embiid...he is as good a fit as anyone else in that range. To me guys like Johnson and Edgecomb are the bad fits in Philly.

I just don't see the philosophical fit at all. It feels like they'd be getting Kuminga in Golden State 2.0 where a talented dumb guy goes to a team of vets who immediately despise him because he doesn't understand that his job is to play defense and stand in the corner. Defensively, Ace is a trainwreck currently and can't play on a playoff team for several years.
All of the fits kind of suck, but Ace feels the most like a Kuminga style catastrophe.

If the Sixers draft Bailey, it won't be with the though of him coming in Day 1 and being a savior. He'll probably come off the bench when Paul George plays and start when George is out of the lineup. If they draft Bailey is should be with a 3 year horizon for when Paul George is gone in 2028.

How do you feel about Carter Bryant at #10? It seems pretty safe considering we have Tari and Bari coming up on the end of their rookie deals.

Houston is really hard to mock for because they have young talent everywhere. I think Bryant brings upside and versatility that they could certainly use, but I'm not sure anyone at pick 10 has a path to minutes right away.
